Global consumer products company seeks its first South American-based statistician to join a world-class team. Working out of a state of the art technology center in Curitiba, you will provide statistical support to both research & development and manufacturing.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with scientists to design research projects as a member of a cross-functional project team. You will also work closely with engineers and other professionals to characterize manufacturing processes and guide process improving efforts while reducing variability.

Applying the latest data analysis techniques, utilizing statistical software (such as JMP & Minitab) or programming languages (SAS or S-Plus), you will drive statistical thinking throughout South America. If you have the aptitude and drive to succeed in a technically challenging, scientific environment, this may be the position for you.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least three years of apply statistics in either a  R&D or manufacturing environment.
• The ability to be a statistical thought leader, while simultaneously serving as a member of various project teams is a must.
• You must have current work authorization for Brasil.
• English proficiency is required. 
• MS/PhD in statistics or a related field is required.
